💝 Two free downloads for you

Most of the recovery from stroke or brain injury happens at home.

It's uncharted territory, and most families are just trying to figure it out as they go.

If you're looking for a little guidance, I created two free downloads.

💪 Recovery is Possible After Stroke & Brain Injury

Recovery doesn't have to stop at six months, a year, or even five years! In this download, I explain the 10 principles of neuroplasticity, a few myths I'd like to set straight, and some ideas for when it feels like progress has stalled. If anyone has ever told you, "this is as good as it gets..." this one is for you.

❤️ 50 Things You Can Do Right Now to Help Your Loved One With Aphasia

Some of these are practical ideas for how to help with talking, understanding, reading, or writing. Some are for harder moments when everyone is frustrated. My favorite part is the section about enjoying your time together. Sometimes the most helpful thing is finding little ways to strengthen your relationship, without it always being practice.

Feel free to grab one or both of these! I hope they help.

Wishing you all the best,
-Megan

P.S. If you know a support group or therapist who'd want these, please pass them along. 💜
